The Acts of God

This article is a list of Bible passages that testify of the various things God does. It’s divided into 2 parts. The first is God’s acts concerning inanimate things and non-accountable creatures. Part two is about God’s acts concerning morally-accountable creatures. There are a total of 28 different acts listed. It is not an exhaustive list, but it is fairly comprehensive. (World English Bible is used for quotes)

Part I

Creates

Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Isaiah 48:13 – Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens. when I call to them, they stand up together.
Isaiah 65:17a – “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth”
Colossians 1:16-17 – For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.

Affects the weather

Exodus 9:23 – Moses stretched out his rod toward the heavens, and Yahweh sent thunder, hail, and lightning flashed down to the earth. Yahweh rained hail on the land of Egypt.
I Samuel 12:18 – So Samuel called unto the Lord; and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.
1 Kings 19:44a,45a – On the seventh time, he said, “Behold, a small cloud, like a man’s hand, is rising out of the sea.” . . . In a little while, the sky grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain.
Job 28:26 – He made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder;
Job 37:10-11 – By the breath of God, ice is given, and the width of the waters is frozen. Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.
Mark 4: 37-41 a big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled.He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are dying?” He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea,“Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them,“Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?” They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Affects the earth

Judges 5:5 – The mountains quaked Yahweh’s presence, even Sinai at the presence of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
Psalm 107: 35 – He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.
Isaiah 35:1-2a – The wilderness and the dry land will be glad. The desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose. It will blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing.
Isaiah 35:7 – The burning sand will become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water. Grass with reeds and rushes will be in the habitation of jackals, where they lay.
Matthew 27:51 – Behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split.
Mark 11:20-21 – As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away.”

Cares for animals

Job 39-41 – Can you hunt the prey for the lioness, or satisfy the appetite of the young lions, when they crouch in their dens, and lie in wait in the thicket? Who provides for the raven his prey, when his young ones cry to God, and wander for lack of food?
Jonah 4:11 – Shouldn’t I be concerned for Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred twenty thousand persons who can’t discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much livestock?”
Matthew 6:26a – See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them.

Part II

Creates, with regard to morally-accountable creatures

Genesis 1:27 – God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.
Genesis 2:7 – Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Nehemiah 9:6a – You are Yahweh, even you alone. You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their army
Psalm 51:10 – Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.
2 Corinthians 5:17a Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

Gives life

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Isaiah 38:5 Go, and tell Hezekiah, ‘Yahweh says, the God of David your father, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.
John 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
John 5:21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom he desires.
John 6:40 “This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:63 It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.
John 10:10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
John 11:10 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.”
Acts 17:25 neither is he served by men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things.
Romans 4:17 As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations.” This is in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were.
1 John 5:11 The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Blesses Man – gives good things to make the receiver fruitful and joyful

Genesis 1:28 – God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Psalm 29:11b – Yahweh will bless his people with peace.
Psalm 107:38 – He bless them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.
Ephesians 1:3 – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;

Appoints – to commission or set in place for a role

Psalm 89:27 – I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.
Psalm 104:19 – He appointed the moon for seasons. The sun knows when to set.
Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
Acts 17:26 – He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings,

Commands people

Genesis 2:16-17 – Yahweh God commanded the man, saying, “You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”
Deuteronomy 6:17 – You shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
Matthew 8:8-9 – The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
1 Corinthians 7:19 – Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
1 John 3:23 This is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he commanded.

Commands angels and devils, with limits on activity

Judges 9:23a – Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem;
2 Samuel 24:16 – When the angel stretched out his hand toward Jerusalem to destroy it, Yahweh relented of the disaster, and said to the angel who destroyed the people, “It is enough. Now withdraw your hand.”
Job 1:12 – Yahweh said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.”
Daniel 10:20 – Then he [Gabriel] said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I go out, behold, the prince of Greece shall come. (my brackets)

Fellowships with man

Genesis 28:15 – Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.”
Mark 3:14a – He appointed twelve, that they might be with him,
Mark 3:35 – For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.”
John 14:23 – Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.”
Revelation 3:20 – Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.

Questions creatures

Genesis 3:9 – Yahweh God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?”
Job 1:8a – Yahweh said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant, Job?. . .”
1 Kings 22:19b-20a – I saw Yahweh sitting on his throne, and all the army of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. Yahweh said, ‘Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth Gilead?’
Jonah 4:11 – “Shouldn’t I be concerned for Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred twenty thousand persons who can’t discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much livestock?”

Disciplines His people (for a time, and for their good)

Psalm 34:19 – Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.
Psalm 119:75 – Yahweh, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
Hebrews 12:6, 11 – For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. (quoted from Proverbs 3:12) . . . All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.
Revelation 3:19 – As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

Judges creatures (for good or bad, in this life and the next life)

Genesis 3:19 – By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust and to dust you shall return.”
Judges 9:23-24 – Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech, that the violence done to the seventy sons of Jerubbaal might come, and that their blood might be laid on Abimelech their brother, who killed them, and on the men of Shechem, who strengthened his hands to kill his brothers.
Matthew 25:21 – His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
2 Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
James 1:13 – Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.
Revelation 2:23b – I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
Revelation 20:10 – The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Revelation 20: 12b, 15 – The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. . . If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

Accepts or rejects offerings

Genesis 4:4-5 Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. Yahweh respected Abel and his offering, but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering.
Isaiah 56:7 – I will bring these to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”
Jeremiah 14:12 – When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and meal offering, I will not accept them; but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.
Malachi 1:10 – “Oh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have no pleasure in you,” says Yahweh of Armies, “neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
Romans 15:16 – that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 13:15-16 Through him, then, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name. But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
1 Peter 2:5 – You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Makes appeals to, and strives with sinners

Genesis 4:6-7 – Yahweh said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen? If you do well, won’t it be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”
Genesis 6:3 – Yahweh said, “My Spirit will not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh;
Job 33:16-18a – Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keeps back his soul from the pit. . .
Hosea 14:1 – Israel, return to Yahweh your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.
Amos 4:9 – “I struck you with blight and mildew many times in your gardens and your vineyards; and your fig trees and your olive trees have the swarming locust devoured: yet you haven’t returned to me,” says Yahweh.
James 4:8 – Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Answers Prayer

Psalm 50:14-15 – Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High. Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
Psalm 86:7 – In the day of my trouble I will call on you, for you will answer me.
Psalm 91:15 – He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
Matthew 6:6b – pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
Matthew 7:7 – Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.

Does Miracles, heals

Genesis 20:17 – Abraham prayed to God. God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his female servants, and they bore children.
Joshua 10:13 – The sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the nation had avenged themselves of their enemies. Isn’t this written in the book of Jashar? The sun stayed in the middle of the sky, and didn’t hurry to go down about a whole day.
Isaiah 38:5-8 – Go, and tell Hezekiah, ‘Yahweh says, the God of David your father, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life. I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city. This shall be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do this thing that he has spoken. Behold, I will cause the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down on the sundial of Ahaz with the sun, to return backward ten steps. So the sun returned ten steps on the sundial on which it had gone down.”
James 5:14-15a – Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

Protects, delivers man

Genesis 4:15 – Yahweh said to him, “Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, so that anyone finding him would not strike him.
2 Kings 1:9-10 – Then the king sent a captain of fifty with his fifty to him. He went up to him; and behold, he was sitting on the top of the hill. He said to him, “Man of God, the king has said, ‘Come down!’” Elijah answered to the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from the sky, and consume you and your fifty!” Then fire came down from the sky, and consumed him and his fifty.
Psalm 3:5 – I laid myself down and slept. I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me.
Ezekiel 9:6a – . . .kill utterly the old man, the young man and the virgin, and little children and women; but don’t come near any man on whom is the mark:
2 Corinthians 1:9-10a – Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver;

Controls nations and their leaders

Job 12:23 – He increases the nations, and he destroys them. He enlarges the nations, and he leads them captive.
Job 12:24-25 – He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth, and causes them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way. They grope in the dark without light. He makes them stagger like a drunken man.
Daniel 2:21b – He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings, and sets up kings;
Daniel 4:17b – the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will, and sets up over it the lowest of men.

Strengthens

Psalm 28:7a – Yahweh is my strength and my shield.
Isaiah 40:29 – He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.
Ephesians 3:16 – that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
1 Peter 4:11b – If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies,

Forgives

Exodus 34:6-7a – Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, “Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth, keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin;
Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek Yahweh while he may be found. Call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
Matthew 18:26-27 – The servant therefore fell down and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’ The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
Luke 18:13-14a – But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other;
Acts 13:38 – Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins.

Saves from sin

Psalm 51:2 – Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin.
Matthew 1:21 – She shall give birth to a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”
Acts 3:26 – God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.”
1 Timothy 1:15 – The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Instructs, Guides

Psalm 25:9 – He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.
Psalm 73:24– You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
Isaiah 54:13 – All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and your children’s peace will be great.
Jeremiah 32:33 – They have turned to me the back, and not the face: and though taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction.
Matthew 7:29 – for he taught them with authority, and not like the scribes.
John 6:45 – It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father, and has learned, comes to me.
Acts 10:28 – He said to them, “You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I shouldn’t call any man unholy or unclean.
1 Corinthians 2:13 – Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.

Comforts

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 – Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Revelation 21:4 – He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.

Makes Predictions and fulfills them

Isaiah 46:10 – I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please.
Ezekiel 33:33 – When this comes to pass, (behold, it comes), then shall they know that a prophet has been among them.
Matthew 8:17 – that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”
Mark 15:28 – The Scripture was fulfilled, which says, “He was numbered with transgressors.”
Luke 24:24 – He said to them, “This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me must be fulfilled.”

Bestows the Spirit

Numbers 11:25 – Yahweh came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was on him, and put Him on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did so no more.
1 Samuel 16:13 – Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the middle of his brothers. Then Yahweh’s Spirit came mightily on David from that day forward.
Matthew 3:16 – Jesus, when he was baptized, went up directly from the water: and behold, the heavens were opened to him. He saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming on him.
Acts 1:8 – But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
Romans 5:5 – and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Galatians 4:6 – And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”

Gives spiritual gifts and fruits

Exodus 31:3-5 (About Bezalel, a craftsman) – and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship, to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of workmanship.
1 Corinthians 12:7 – But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.
Galatians 5:22 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control.
Ephesians 4:8,11 – Therefore he says, “When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men.”. . . He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
1 Peter 4:10 – As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.

Sustains, preserves

Psalm 107:9 – For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.
Psalm 146:9 – Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.
Matthew 6:30 – But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Colossians 1:17 – He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
Hebrews 1:3a – His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power,
Hebrews 13:5 – Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

Puts to death

Deuteronomy 32:39 – See now that I myself am he. There is no god with me. I kill and I make alive. I wound and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.
Hosea 6:5a – Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth.
Luke 12:5b – Fear him, who after he has killed, has power to cast into Gehenna.
Acts 5:5,10 – Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. . . .She fell down immediately at his feet, and died. (That is, Sapphira, Ananias’ wife)
1 Corinthians 11:30 – For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and some sleep.

Raises the Dead

Isaiah 26:19 – Your dead shall live. My dead body shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth will cast out the departed spirits.
Matthew 27:52-53 – The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.
John 5:28-29 – Don’t marvel at this, for the hour comes, in which all that are in the tombs will hear his voice, and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.
1 Corinthians 15: 42-44a – The body is sown perishable; it is raised imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 – For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

God will live on Earth with Man

Job 19:25 – But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, He will stand upon the earth.
Ezekiel 43:7a – He said to me, Son of man, this is the place of My throne, and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the children of Israel forever.
Revelation 22:22-24 – I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple. The city has no need for the sun, neither of the moon, to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb. The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
